Birthday Challenge

My 30th birthday is July 7th. These are the goals I’ve set for my Birthday Challenge. It’s going to be a good year, but I’ve got a lot of work to do.

Objectives:

  • Do 30 pull-ups in 3 minutes
  • Read 30 minutes a day for 30 days
  • Jump rope for 30 minutes
  • Play guitar for 30 minutes a day for 30 days
  • Complete 30 push-ups in 30 seconds
  • Run 30 miles a week for 30 days
  • Sit in the lotus position for 30 minutes
  • Climb 30 stories of stairs every day for 30 days
  • Try 30 new beers

Progress:

  • 25 pull-ups in 3 minutes
  • Read 30 minutes for 21 days
  • Jumped rope for 7 minutes
  • Played guitar for 30 minutes for 1 days
  • 30 push-ups in 35 seconds
  • Run 30 miles a week for 0 days
  • Sat in the lotus position for 1 minutes
  • Climbed 30 flights of stairs every day for 13 days
  • Tried 30 new beers

    It’s kind of funny how trying 30 new beers is always the one that gets checked off first. I’m the same way.
